Christmas appeal

For Christmas 2019, we are inviting the St Andrew's congregation to support the work of Stevenage Haven by donating soaps & toiletries or confectionery. These can come in their original packaging or, if preferred, can be offered in your own, home wrapped, boxes and containers. A simple card sending Christmas wishes could be included. Please bring your gift before Wednesday 18 December. It can be given to one of the Churchwardens or, during office hours, to Phil Probert (Parish Administrator). Many thanks.

Alone on Christmas Day?

Join others at Sele School for lunch and entertainment. Transport provided if needed. Lunches can be taken to the housebound. Application forms are at the back of St Andrew’s Church or an application form can be downloaded here. Volunteers are needed to serve food and provide entertainment and transport. Further details can be found on the posters in church or the poster can be downloaded here. Contact Janet Bird (; 01992 587544).

Choir Wars: Battle of the Carol Singers

In this Diocesan Christmas film, two choirs discover that it takes more than great singing to spread Christmas joy.

We thank Paul Crowley for his stunning image of St Andrew's spire and starlit night sky
