Hertford St Andrew CofE Primary School

StAndrewSchoolSignWe have close links with our parish school, and Rev. Alan is very much involved in life there. We welcome the staff and children to St Andrew's Church on many occasions throughout the year, for special services and also events such as Experience Pentecost.

As a Church of England Primary School, the ethos is firmly grounded in Christian Values and the staff are committed to celebrating each and every child. If you are looking for a school that celebrates children in a truly caring and secure way then do contact them for a visit -

Other Churches in the Team

Wellbeing Church
A new initiative in Hertford for 2019, seeking to be a kingdom outreach into the town. The main public event is a Friday evening ‘Twilight Café’, held at Mudlarks Coffee Shop in town between 6.30pm and 9.30pm. Some young people from Youth Groups are involved in being baristas. There are drinks and snacks available, easy conversations, as well as opportunities for discussion, with other activities planned for the future. Drop in on a Friday sometime and find out more... maybe it’s something you can take a friend along to for a nice cuppa?

Other Organisations

FUTUREHOPE is a free, confidential service, 'helping people in crisis gain hope and a future'. They focus primarily on young people ages 11-19*, in Hertford, Ware & Welwyn Garden City, and also offer support to family and friends where possible. They  offer help with the following:

  • substance misuse problems and addictive behaviour
  • mental health issues
  • youth offending
  • the effects of family breakdown

Their  service is open to every person, regardless of gender, sexuality, race, belief, or ability - as a movement with a Christian ethos, we offer the additional option of spiritual input, but this is up to each individual.
