Events at St Andrew's

What kind of things are happening at St Andrew's?

Slavery ends here - Sunday 21 October, 1.00pm
A global anti-human trafficking organisation, A21, will be holding an open session at St Andrew's Church and would love you to join us. Hear an interactive prevention and awareness presentation, survivor stories and become part of the fight for freedom. A light lunch will be provided from around 1.00pm, with the session taking place afterwards. The session will last approximately 1 hour. There will be a discussion about what human trafficking is, what it looks like both globally and locally, what A21 are doing about it - plus, what you can do to help end it altogether.

Light Party - Wednesday 31 October, 4.30-6.30pm
On All Hallows' Eve (Halloween) at St Andrew's Church, a light party for all the family - food, craft, games, dressing up, music! If you'd like to come, please contact Tracy: standrewstracy@gmail.com

Service for the Bereaved - Sunday 4 November, 2.00pm

Every year, on the first Sunday of November, we hold a special service of remembrance at St Andrew's. We invite those whose loved ones have died in recent years (usually within the last two years) to attend the service, but anyone is welcome.

Service of Remembrance - Sunday 11 November, 9.15am

An opportunity to mark Remembrance Sunday with this special act of worship at St Andrew's. Towards the beginning of the service, we will lay a wreath at our memorial and hold a two-minute silence. We start at the earlier time of 9.15am to allow clergy and other members of the congregation to attend events elsewhere at 11am.

All the churches within our Hertford Team join together this morning for a service at All Saints' Church. Please note that there is no 10.30am Holy Communion Service at St Andrew's on Sunday 25 November.
