Martin and Eliza Carthy

Saturday 24 October, 7.30pm - LIVE at St Andrew's Church

We still hope to host Martin and Eliza Carthy at St Andrew's in October - confirmation of the concert will, however, be made later in the summer. So, watch this space!

`Arguably the greatest English folk song performer, writer, collector and editor of them all’
Q Magazine

’Eliza Carthy is one of the figureheads of the English folk revival … compelling’
Evening Standard

Martin Carthy has been a trailblazer for folk music, playing with and influencing many of the top names in music - Steeleye Span, Bob Dylan, Paul Simon and many more. His daughter, Eliza, is one of the top acts of her generation and has been involved in numerous projects which have led to awards and, on two occasions, nominations for the Mercury Music Prize.

The show at St Andrew's is part of a short, father and daughter tour which will show off their remarkable talents and empathy for great music - contemporary and traditional.
