Between 30 May and 9 June, communities and churches around the world are gathering together to pray that God's Kingdom of peace and reconciliation would come.

Ascension Day Service
Thursday 30 May, 8.00pm at St Andrew's Church
A candlelit communion service in the style of Taizé
30 May - 9 June, during daylight hours...
There will be an opportunity to pray creatively in St Andrew's Church. An all-age sensory Lord's Prayer activity will be set up in the North Transept, with other imaginative opportunities for prayer in the Chapel.
Tuesday 4 June
Be still 7.30pm at St Martin's Church, Knebworth - Bishop Alan will host this prayer event with the Reaching New People team. Be Still will be a relaxed evening with a focus on being still and hearing from God, through prayer stations exploring The Lord's Prayer, so that we are inspired to go out and fulfil God's mission.
Thursday 30 May
Join the Regional Church Leaders in Prayer at 7.30pm at the Coptic Orthodox Cathedral of St George, Stevenage. Hosted by His Eminence Archbishop Angaelos who will be joined by Stephen Copson from the Central Baptist Association, Bishop Richard of Bedford and Bishop Paul of Westminster. Sunday 9 June
Beacon Celebration on Pentecost Sunday which takes place at St Albans Abbey and this year has been put together by an ecumenical planning group. This celebration will bring together representatives from across the local and regional Churches and we will also be joined by Paul Goodliff from Churches Together in England.
