LAUNCH OF SELE OVER 60s LUNCH CLUB
With the opening of the new Community Centre at Sele comes a welcome
initiative from Churches Together in Hertford which will be of interest to
anyone who has celebrated their 60th birthday.
Churches Together are hosting a lunch club on the second and fourth Fridays
of every month at the Community Centre. If you are over 60 and live in or
around Sele they would love to see you. For just £4 a head you will be
provided with a main course, pudding and tea or coffee. You can chose to go
once a month or twice a month. All you need to do is book a place as early
as possible by ringing the numbers given below. This is important as they
can only cater for 40 people at a time. Besides a warm welcome and a good
meal you will have the opportunity to meet friends, old and new. What a
nice thought, especially on a cold winter’s day.
