Junior Church

Each month we have an All-Age communion service which is shorter and more interactive. During communion children receive a grape (which in time of course becomes wine). Junior Church usually runs on other Sundays and there are currently three age-groups:

Crèche (0-4yrs)
Grasshoppers (4-8yrs)
God's kids (8+)

Tiddlywinks (crèche): 0-4

We meet in the hall for free play, songs and together time. Parents/carers are welcome to stay in the crèche or rejoin the service.

Grasshoppers: 4-8

We meet in the hall for fun, messy sticking, playing, listening, caring, sharing, finding out and discovering God’s love.

God’s Kids: 8+

We meet above the vestry for fun, craft, Bible study and social action.

Monthly Discussion Group: 12+

We meet during the service once a month.

Lots of helpers are needed to run the different groups, especially when there are lots of visiting children for a Christening. If you would be interested in helping with Junior Church please contact Catherine Sleath.
